Visual Screenings
Our screening programme began in 1997 and its focus is to do large group testing to determine if persons have visual issues that may be affecting their productivity as well as educating these groups about what good eye health looks like and how best to care for the eyes.
We have partnered with schools, churches, libraries, health centres and businesses.
What is Checked
We use the Optec Vision Tester and we screen for the following:
- Distance Vision: Allows us to uncover nearsightedness.
- Near Vision: Allows us to uncover farsightedness.
- Lateral muscle balance.
- Depth perception
